HAPPY EASTER

HAPPY EASTER

Alice is clearly enjoying her first Easter… at least the lamb is happy.  She also turned FIVE WEEKS OLD yesterday!

Here’s a quick recap of how she spent her holiday:

  • wake up at 3:30a and refuse to go back to sleep,
  • be awake and fussy ALL morning – despite lots of cuddles, food, diaper changes, and car rides
  • fuss fuss fuss
  • go to Easter at Grandma/Grandpa Doughty’s house and be sleepy, cuddly, and adorably cute THE. WHOLE. TIME.
  • come home and fuss fuss fuss
  • go for a walk and enjoy this amazing 80* weather
  • fuss fuss fuss

Like I said in her one month post – she likes to pretend that she is a sweet, cuddly baby when other people are around.  Tricky little girl…

Derek’s mom had an Easter egg hunt for Andrew, Ellie, and Alice.  I graciously stepped in on Alice’s behalf.

My parents had an Easter basket for Alice that they sent up earlier in the week.  It was filled with candy (I am possibly addicted to candy…) and a cute doll and wrist rattles for Alice.  She still doesn’t quite understand that she actually has hands, arms, feet, and legs so she’s clearly a little confused about the wrist rattles at this point.
